Meet Dr. Maria Atkins

Maria Atkins, D.O., co-owner and Medical Director of the Cosmetic Enhancement Center of New England, is a Board Certified Maine physician and experienced health care practitioner. Dr. Atkins holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biochemistry and graduated from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1993. After completing a Family Practice Residency at Brighton Medical Center in Portland, Maine, she turned her focus to Medical Aesthetics in 1996. She is a Fellow of the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery and holds numerous certifications in her field. By incorporating multi-wavelength laser technologies as well as a comprehensive range of non-invasive state of the art techniques, modalities and procedures, Dr. Atkins has made CEC the most successful and highly regarded medical aesthetic and laser practice in New England today. She is continually the leader in bringing latest technological advances in medical aesthetics to Maine.
